The Ohio River Towns Enterprise Zone

McKees Rocks, Stowe, Neville, and Coraopolis provide access to markets, riverfront property, and a strong industrial base for businesses.

These communities are in close proximity to downtown Pittsburgh and located within the greater Pittsburgh Airport Corridor. In addition, they are at the intersection of I-79 and I-376, two major transportation links.

Having your manufacturing or light industrial firm located in the zone may also help with securing financing. Businesses in the ORTEZ have financing access to the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA), Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund (MELF), and Small Business First (SBF), which are some of the lowest interest business loans.

In addition, tax credits for real property improvements, Socially and Economically Restricted Business (SERB) status for preferred bidding on Pennsylvania state contracts, and Act II funding are also available.
